Selamat hari raya semua…uhm..ni lah pertama kali dlm seumur hidup aku beraya tanpa keluarga tersayang..jauh pulak dgn si manje ahmad faisal..rasa hambar aje aidilfitri kt sini..x ubah mcm ‘hari sabtu dan ahad yang dipenuhi open house’..tapi satu benda yg tetap sama, mlm raye still memasak sampai ke pagi dannnn….perut aku mesti senak sampai ketat sbb terlalu byk sgt makan..gagaggaga =D
 
Hari raya pertama aritu, kitorg (dy, sha, wahida) buat open house..after brain
storming bertiga, akhirnya kami end up dgn menu2 yg unik.. ( unik la sbb xde rendang walaupun di hari raya..) yelah, org lain sume dah masak rendang, maka kami pun cuba membuat kelainan..ditambah lagi dengan menu ‘membunuh diri’ oleh sha yang ditambah dengan aksi2 menarik dan mencabar..uhmm..tapi kami berpuas hati sbb makanan kami licin! huwahuwahuwa.. senang hati kami para tukang masak melihat periuk yg licin dan tertungging! =D Gambar2 tu hanyalah sebahagian daripada tetamu yg hadir..tu pun dah last batch yg dtg..tuan rumah pun dh x larat dah nk melayan..hanya mampu tersenyum melihat tetamu2 makan2..meriah…memang meriah..alhamdulillah

Menu open house Shadywawe

1. Sate lembu dan kambing yang sedap maut rasenye..semaut cara membuatnye..
   
2. Soto (bukan siti) ayam dan bergedil yang yummy sampai berkali2 org tnya resepi
3. Nasi himpit dan kuah kacang (walaupun terkurang udang keringnya kerana tersalah budget, tapi kuah kacang yang penuh kasih sayang ini teramatlah sedap..
4. Roti canai dan lamb dhal
5. Swiss roll agar, kuih2 raya & buah buahan
6. Laici kang (akhirnya tinggal selasih aje sbb laici, mata kucing dan segala bahan2 asas laici kang telah dibaham secara berasingan)..gagagagaaa…

Uhm…pagini kacau amat paisal..dia nk tido tp tunang dia ni tipon suro bangun..hikhik..suka kacau dia! Pastu oleh kerana amat paisal nk tido lagi, maka saya pun merajuk di dapur..inilah hasil merajuk saya…

Yesterday was my birthday..it was the first time i celebrated my bday without my network supports i.e. my parents, family, lovely friends in malaysia & certainly my fiance :’). Paivi has arranged a morning tea to celebrate my bday, we had our morning tea with  nice iced mocca & Belgium waffle at Vanilla Bean..later at night me and Leah went out to have our dinner together at Turkish Pide,and the best thing of all, Leah belanje!!!..hehehe..thanks Sook Kwan..if i knew u r going to treat, definitely i’ll order more than what we had last nite =D

Dah lama  x update gmba2 cooking..actually baru tau ada function kt camera aku nih for super close up photography..nmpk sexy pulak cooking photos aku nih bila closed up, kikiki… smlm gi asean groceries ngan leah, dh lama teringin nk mkn char kuey tiaw..tp biar lama sgt atas stove tu jd kering sikit pulak..aisey..abg, mcm ni pon boleh la yer.. ntah bila aritu teringin nk buat mee kungfu, yg salut ngan telur tu..sekali dh buat x nmpk mee & udang, nmpk kobis aje..ahahhaa..aparaa dy…uhm, ahmad faisal, ni dah letak gmba masak2 ni, boleh la update menu tu yer… lg satu, kucai (chinese chive) tu yg ijau2 kt kuey tiaw tu..kronik la abg ni x kenal kucai..ayang kenal kucai, tp kucai x kenal ayang la..

Lama dah x tulis blog ni..malas pun ada, tp sbb nk amik mood utk menaip, so aku pun tulis la sket2..aritu gi Adelaide, ada short course 2 minggu…jumpa liza eddy kt sana..bahagia aku dpt jumpa kwn lama..so 2 minggu la aku ngan liza..skrg ni dh balik canberra, rasa sunyi gile..aritu wawe, sha & nadrah sume xde…nasib baik ada leah & kak balkis..ada gak org nk layan aku bcakap..sedih gile..and nasib baik ada tunang yg tak jemu2 tipon aku hari2, layan aku merajuk, layan aku nangis sume…

Then balik smula rutin gi lab..aku ni bila dah start gi lab, payah nk balik, sbb ada je keje nnti..lgpun supervisor aku ni suka tgk muka aku hari2 kt lab, so kena la keje kuat hari2..weekend pun keje..penat sgt..curik2 masa je nk kuar ngan kekawan, kalo x mmg aku terperap ajela kt lab tu….

Bila balik umah lak, rase kosong aje..bestnya kalu balik umah ade org jwp salam..masak mcm2 pun nk rasa kelat aje nk makan..huhuhu..sayu sayu..maybe ada kwn2 yg dah tau, my fiance bakal sambung blaja kt sini and kerja pun sama uni ngan aku bila blk mesia nti..insyaAllah panjang jodoh maka bernikahlah kami x lama lg..harap sgt dia ada kt sini sama2..biar kuat smangat sikit aku kt sini.. uhm.. esok aku offer diri utk start lab meeting, dh siap slide sume tp x practise apa2 pun..pelik jugak sb xde perasaan..huhuhu..dy ke ni? kronik dah budak ni….

Uhmm..this post  is dedicated to my fiance..this post is created as to give him a brief idea on what menus should be put on his personal ‘daily menu pamphlet’. They are stir fry chicken, strong black espresso, golden spanish tortilla and chicken curry noodles (byk ayam lembut kecik2 eh dear?) .Btw, tomorrow is his birthday..i wish i can bake him a cake especially for the most special-outstanding-gorgeous-lovely person in my life,  Faiz, Affa,John, Joe, Ahmad Faisal

We are having our first AGM for Malaysian Postgraduate Student   in Canberra this afternoon..everyone is expected to bring their own food (by potluck)..I’ve prepared some bihun goreng, bergedil and sandwich for our previous ‘makan2 time’ (with my friends) and for today, i’ve prepared some dessert (im not good in making dessert, dessert melayu boleh la =D) but i believe my friends will like this dessert..raspberry jelly with swiss roll..or the other way round?? hehe..mana2 pun boleh lah…the close-up photo is blurr..maybe because my jelly is too shiny..hehe..thanks wahida sbb tlg belikan jelly powder kt Dickson!

I was thinking to cook something else than chicken for today’s dinner.. im sick of having chicken in my meal everyday [i've no choice because seafood is damn expensive in Canberra and they aren't fresh too ] Probably potato, tuna and pasta will do! Therefore, after few minutes of cooking in my lovely kitchen, here are the dishes; Tuna Pasta & Potato Salad (the salad is given a kiss of lemon, mualah!) I called this meal as "small effort, big result" =D

Beautiful sunday..that is the only words best to describe this morning..I woke up reasonably early, having my early breakfast and did some cleaning to my studio..i was planning to cook nasi lemak for today’s breakfast since i still have some sambal ikan bilis left in my fridge, but end up cooking nasi ayam instead =D i called this dishes as nasi ayam Canberra coz this is my very first time cooked this meal since i came to Canberra..well Australian, the soup in the cup is NOT the authentic soup for nasi ayam, that soup was modified by me by adding some red capsicum (because i lurrrve capsicum so much).. but I dont feel like eating the meal at the moment, do u?
